Roche Bobois: Saga

A thick tabletop, natural wooden legs and a random non symmetrical pattern, that’s three major trends ticked off in one table. This Saga table by Roche Bobois would definitely suit any bang up to the minute loft space with faultless finishes .

For a design that’s playing to the ecological trend, the  thicket legs are a tad over doing it.It’s thick table top also poses an ecological question mark, but I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt, considering that it needs a certain thickness to cantilever out from the legs.

I believe it is manufacture by Turrini who’s working method is to use artisan techniques within a factory chain that respects the environment. One detail that I particularly like is the end of the table-top where you see it’s solid wooden core.
