François Azambourd: La Belle et Le Clochard

December 30th, 2011 § 0 comments

Not only does the La Belle et Le Clochard (the Lady and the Tramp,) table weigh only 12kg, it also comes with some stylish instructions, where a bearded guy makes sure that you have the legs the right way around and that you tighten them every year.

François Azambourg has designed it in maple or ironwood, with a black foam core table top, so that it’s lightweight and durable. I can picture a “Lady and the Tramp” style spaghetti scene at the darker ironwood table, but the lighter maple table is a more appropriate setting for eating Japanese noodles.
